It's rare seeing a quality video of someone just emptying out like that. Kinda reminds me of that security guard bank video. Guess if an artery opens up, it's pretty much a done deal unless you have a tourniquet and it was in an extremity.

any compression thats forceful enough to collapse the vein/artery onto itself is enough to stop bloodflow to anywhere downstream of the vein. pinching is easier, but a tourniquet is a good "brute force" method when you dont know where the necessary vein/artery is.
