The kids dead, he didn't know what hit him and his life was frankly a good one. He never had to grow up and see the reality of the world he lived a life playing with toys, watching cartoons and enjoying sweets and shit. The major tragedy here is the woman who ran him over. Complete accident and she will live with the image of that little dude bleeding and broken for the rest of her life. WATCH YOUR DAMN KIDS PEOPLE!

That's the thing dude, you're looking at it as an adult. Unless he is being beaten or some shit he doesn't know any better. When I was young we mf family went through a period of severe financial stress. For a few years They couldn't afford new toys fr me and stuff. My memories of that time are still some of the fondest I have, playing in the tall grass behind my childhood home and watching TV with my dog. I saw things as a child and because of that was incapable of recognising how shit things actually were. Basically I am assuming the kid wasn't being subjected to anything so terrible even a kid would know its shit.

Sure I'm viewing as an adult but I'm also viewing as the child who was abused their entire life by everyone around him and still maintained a happy attitude until middle school. Just because he seems care free doesn't mean there aren't hidden struggles or pains. I was miserable before middle school but my child mind was easily distracted by playing and watching cartoons.
