If you're going to autoasphyxiate at least do it with a "dead man switch" style noose. Hang a pulley from the ceiling, grab a rope, and put your neck in one end and hold the other. If you pull the rope, you choke. If you pass out, you let go and start breathing again.

If something can kill you, do it the right fucking way and make damn well sure you know what that way is.
