The body can be very mysterious sometimes.

I once fell from max height jumping on a Pogo Stick, head first on concrete, and I hit the back of it exactly like this poor kid got happen. I just stand up with no injuries. Not even a bruise. Maybe I actually died that day but I am living an alternate life where that didnt happen. :marseysweating:

Falling and hitting on marble, and any stone surface in general is typically more dangerous than hitting concrete because of surface hardness in general. Believe it or not, concrete can absorb more impact which will reduce the severity of the fall under same conditions.

Also, how a person lands also play a major role in dispersing the impact. For example, if a person lands head first with his/her body leaning to one side, it can distribute a lot of force. While a person falling flat onto the head, like in the video would send all the shock into the skull.

Still, you are very lucky to be alive considering you were falling from a higher elevation.

This about the absorption might explain a lot, I actually made a loud noise too, reason my neighbor panic when she saw the accident, but I also remember it didnt even hurt, neither made me feel confused or any pain afterwards, it felt like I fell over a pillow.

And yes I am very glad I was fine, I would have died at the age of 9...
