This was my boyfriend's childhood - high school friend. His name was Eddy and he was only 16 years old at the time of his passing. May he rest in peace in forever ❤️

I was once a first responder (non-EMT/PD) at the scene of a car accident.

Motorcycle on a straight road pinned under a car that was coming ONTO the road from a parking lot - Bike must’ve slid and the biker’s head (and helmet) smashed the bumper + concrete rebound.

Poor guy’s impact put him to sleep instantly, unconscious and nostrils/mouth hemorrhaging within a couple of seconds from impact. Luckily an offduty EMT was nearby and we cleared what we could as fast we could, but I was told there was a memorial days after in that location.

The biker’s family were driving ahead of him, I suppose they noticed he wasn’t following anymore and they turned back. I was on the ground with him when I heard a vehicle stop behind me, it was his family just looking at their loved one, face covered in blood and not moving. (EMT had just reached the scene at that point.)

Woman is wailing from inside the car, she started providing his info ASAP - Name, weight, blood type, etc. all while traffic is now stopped on all lanes, and their kids have a front seat to the incident. After I went home I couldn’t sleep, I hope they’re okay after it’s all said and done.
