A tractor trailer crushed 
a 34-year-old woman 
to death 
at Maharaja Partap Singh Nagar in Jodhewal area here yesterday.
The deceased has been identified as Shanti Devi. Victim's grandson Rajan Kumar in his complaint said his grandmother 
was sitting 
on a chair 
in the street 
outside 
the home, when Khjan Singh hit her chair 
with the tractor and crushed her under 
it. Shanti Devi died on the spot. The accused, however, managed to flee. The police 
have registered a case and were investigating the matter.
