pants pulled down indicates a lot of thrashing about during the hanging. Maybe he was hanging for a long time after futile attempts at holding onto the furniture to gasp for air. Could explain the snot, never seen that before.

Would make sense honestly. Like, my entirety uneducated guess would be that the noose tightened at the base of his neck before squeezing more blood into his brain as it slipped up the neck, the pressure crushing his sinuses down, forcing snot out. Would probably have to be kinda stuffed up prior to hanging tho I imagine. Sinuses being made out of cartilage probably means they don’t have a lot of give lmao

It's a horrendous feeling, head feels like it's gonna explode and all you can hear and feel in your head is your heartbeat- SO loudly at that. Thank god I backed out before I passed out. I never want to feel that sensation again.
