Bobby was a 10 year old swedish boy with fragile x syndrome, a genetic disorder characterized by mild-to-moderate intellectual disability- often more or less akin to autism. He was described as gentle, innocent and very shy.

When Bobby was born, his mother expressed reluctance in raising him, often leaving maternal duties to her own mother- Bobby's grandmother. He was also given a so called "bonus family"- a loving and supportive foster home where he spent half of his time with them and half of his time with in the home of his mother and grandmother. In this environment Bobby thrived, he started to develop in school, started speaking and learning to write, as well as foster creative skills like painting.

All of this would change when Bobby's mother met Eddy Larsson.

The pair had met online, where both of them lied to each other about their age and appearance (if I looked like either of them, I'd lie too tbh...) Eddy, a convicted rapist, described his keen interest in BDSM, and this seemingly interested Niina too. After months of chatting, the pair made plans to move out into the wilderness of Nässjö, Jönköping- to what Eddy described as "a farm with plenty of animals". It had long been a dream of Niina to live a farmers life.

Thus she uprooted her and Bobby's functional life and moved in with Eddy- who was essentially a stranger. Reality started to set in when they arrived at the "farm", which in reality had no animals, no toilet, no hot water and no heating. From the get go, Eddy was incredibly violent with Niina, but when Eddy later lost his job and turned to drinking to cope- his abuse turned to Bobby.

According to Niina, the first instance of abuse occurred when Eddy attempted to feed Bobby cat food. When Bobby refused to eat it, Eddy shoved his head into the plate. This happened in autumn 2005- by January 2006- Bobby would be dead.

In this span of 4-5 months, Niina removed Bobby from school, claiming Bobby was sick. And blocked any outsiders, like his grandmother and support family from meeting the boy. It would later be revealed she did this due to the amount of abuse inflicted would be obvious to anybody to see.

Bobby, who used to be a healthy and chubby young man, had been starved down to bone. He was burned with cigarettes, had his genitals beaten with wooden sticks and infamously sucked with a vacuum cleaner. They shocked Bobby's feet and genitals with the electric fence with lined the pasture, had liquor forced with his throat through a funnel and most deadly of all, frequently locked Bobby outside in the snow, often naked.

13 January 2006, Bobby was beaten and thrown into the snow, then had snow shoveled onto his body, where he was left to freeze. Eddy and Niina later brought Bobby's frozen body inside, where they taped him to a chair in front of the fireplace to warm up. Bobby was described as barely conscious. He was later untied and carried to his bedroom to sleep.

The next day, 14 January 2006, when Niina went to check on her son, he had died. The cause of death was described as a combination of exposure and choking on his own vomit. They had successfully tortured this poor innocent boy to death.

Niina, upon finding her dead son, went back downstairs to drink whisky with Eddy. The couple carried the body outside and left it for several days in a nearby barn.

When the smell became too much to bear, they wrapped his body in plastic, weighed it down with chains and threw it in the nearby Lovsjön lake.

On 29 January 2006, Eddy called the police- claiming his girlfriends son has gone missing after they visited the Bäckebol shopping centre in Gothenburg. When authorities went through the security tapes and saw no trace of Bobby, suspicion fell on Niina and Eddy. Niina quickly confessed and told authorities about Bobby's body in the lake.

A team on divers found him under the ice.

For the crimes against Bobby, Niina and Eddy both only received 10 years in prison...
