On April 8, 1994, Kurt Cobain, the lead singer and guitarist of the American rock band Nirvana, was found dead at his home on Lake Washington Boulevard in Seattle, Washington. Forensics investigators and a coroner later determined that Cobain had died on April 5, three days prior to the discovery of his body.[1] The Seattle Police Department incident report stated that Cobain was found with a shotgun across his body, had suffered a visible gunshot wound to the head, and that a suicide note had been discovered nearby. Seattle police confirmed Cobain's death as a suicide.

I'm not sure if I'm like tripping or not but I read once that he was high and he was so high that he couldn't even be able to hold the shotgun and there's like a whole thing where like his wife killed him or smth, really sad though that it's been 30 years.
EDIT: So I looked into it and it's just a conspiracy theory, I honestly forgot about tolerance when using drugs and stuff but either way his death was sad.

I once knew a guy who was one of my roomate's best friends. They had been addicts together for years, and they were both in recovery. Well, the guy got in a huge fight with his baby's mother and had relapsed bad (on herion/fentanyl). In the middle of this argument, he pulled out a pistol and shot himself in the head.
To your credit, he didn't place the shot well and it took him a few days to die, but he was capable of standing/arguing/drawing and firing a gun while absolutely blasted on opiates much stronger than Cobain likely had access to (fent existed then but it there wasn't a massive clandestine network pumping it into the drug supply like there is today - nearly all of it was being subverted away from the medical supply, at that point). Frankly, any opiate addict who had been addicted for longer than a month or two would be pretty doggone functional on their drug. Even a lot of it. So not saying you're bad for repeating this theory, i just want to point out that it is almost certainly the conjecture of someone who has no clue. Take care.

I knew junkies who would shoot up and then go to work on Loading Docks all night. Nobody was ever the wiser because all they had to say was they were coming down with a cold/flu.
It's TOTALLY possible to blast yourself
after you've taken a "lethal amount" of Opiates because it takes a few minutes for the total effect to kick in.
That said.... The Shell Casing being on the opposite side of the Gun leads me to believe SOMEBODY found him before the Electrician did, and probably touched shit, and moved shit around before they left.

It's an old wives tale that Kurt had so much heroin in his system that he wouldn't had been able to hold a gun or he wouldn't had been able to give himself the amount he did but that's all bullshit. It's called a tolerance. And I'm sure when you're one of the worlds biggest rock groups you can build a pretty big tolerance. At one point I could do enough fetty to probably kill 50 people w no tolerance but that's how it goes. Just seeing those needles brought me back to a weird place…. Depressing but somehow happy to be able to turn the bullshit n nightmares off… if it makes sense

After 24 years of solid every day use, about a gram a day ($400ish), I could not OD even if I wanted to. I would need to shoot up so much that the cutting agents begin to hurt (massive instant headache) and I would still barely be nodding.

His shoes are on, and the barrel is resting perfectly in the middle of his chest with his fingers around the barrel. We've seen a hundred shotgun suicides on here and none of them ever looked remotely close to this. He was murdered

Sunday was her first date with another guy. I felt so happy for her. And tonight she had sex with him. I was more nervous of what my reaction would be afterwords. But when she came home those worries melted away. It felt great to bask in her glow. I am overflowing with joy. There will be work to be done and not easy time but man. This feels good.
