CHILD WARNING 16-year-old girl hanged herself over argument with her mother

AMBODIA – MAY 15, 2018 When 16-year-old Khann Chanthou returned home drunk from a party, her mother shouted at her a lot. She accused her of being lazy and told her she would never amount to anything in life. The argument upset Khann so much that she decided to commit suicide. She hanged herself on a beam. When her mother noticed the next day that the front door of the house was locked and her daughter was not responding to her calls to open it, she called the neighbours for help. When they broke down the door she found her own daughter hanging lifeless from a beam.
