SOBRADINHO: Driver dies after running over a cow on BA-210

In Sobradinho, a driver identified as Leonardo Henrique da Silva, aged 30, died after colliding with a cow that invaded the BA-210 lane, on Wednesday night (17). The animal did not resist the blow and died.

According to preliminary information, the accident occurred while Leonardo was driving alone, towards Sento Sé. After hitting the cow, the vehicle left the road and ended up stopping in a nearby vegetation area.

The impact left the vehicle completely destroyed. Despite what happened on Wednesday night, Leonardo's body was only removed from the scene this Thursday (18) and sent to the Legal Medical Institute (IML) in Juazeiro.

According to the Military Police, Leonardo was born in Pernambuco, was an engineer and was in the region for work, providing services for a wind energy company.
