Good thing he's pointing to the body otherwise I'd not have known where to look.

To be honest, I never really understood why in almost every gore image from Thailand there's always somebody pointing at the body. Is this just a Thai thing or am I tripping?

Happens all the time in Asia. It's police protocol to have an individual point at the person/item of interest in on file photos.

Someone I know was accused of stealing a bike in Japan and they made them point at it too in their photos

In Japan, police often use a process called "tatekae" (立て返し) during their investigations, which involves having a witness or suspect point out the location or position of an object or event that is relevant to the case. This practice is based on the belief that a person's memory and recollection of an event can be aided by physically reenacting or demonstrating the events that took place. By having the witness or suspect point out the location or position of an object or event, the police can gain a better understanding of what happened and potentially gather more accurate and detailed information about the case. Additionally, tatekae can also be used as a means of verifying or corroborating the testimony of a witness or suspect.

Even if she was trespassing or stealing, most disturbing part for me is the sad image of her rummaging around for food. Coming from a childhood of poverty, I committed petty crimes out of necessity not desire. RIP lady.

If it’s true she fell through the floorboards, that’s crazy. Though reading the other comments about her stealing rice, it wouldn’t surprise me if it wasn’t a total accident

She was a thief. She would sneak into farmers' houses to steal rice portions when they were away. She found a loose panel of wood….

Effing Karma.

You should add those in when you can, at least the legitimate links to true source stories. Makes them even more interesting.

edit: eh, I get not using weak sources. Just saw the issue in the streamer post. Still some good shit, man. Appreciate the effort.
