A man died after launching from a boat and being hit by propellers in Cholón (Cartagena, Colombia). The boat carried out reverse maneuvers without realizing that a bather was behind it.

Yup, stainless steel props are pretty strong, mostly sticks and rocks are the only things that scratch or break them up. Boat engines have more torque than horsepower usually so the prop can spin quicker while in the water. Yes this does looks like a boating injury for sure, you can see the slices through his fat and flesh from the blades. My guess is a 3 bladed casted stainless steel prop.
