19 year old Maria Del Jesus Crispin Uscanga was under house arrest for drug problems. According to her parents, she broke out and escaped around 9pm. They went after her, thinking she was going to buy or steal drugs from somewhere, but did not find her.
To their dismay, she was discovered a couple of hours later in the yard of an unoccupied house just down the street, hanging from a tree near the patio.
Police said there were no signs of violence on her body and the scene as well as physical characteristics of her body strongly indicated suicide. Her family did not dispute the findings. She did not leave a note. Her death occurred five days after her 19th birthday.

Most decedents do defecate themselves when dying of hanging and other asphyxiation, but it is very unlikely to ever see it in crime scene photos unless the decedent is unclothed. In a situation like this where jeans are worn, it is extremely unlikely that perimortem bowel evacuation would find its way onto the floor like that.
Without getting into extensive specifics (I have studied the full autopsy reports of hundreds of hanging decedents), when people defecate during asphyxiation, it isn't like they completely empty their bowels the same as living people do on the toilet. Muscle spasms and synaptic misfires will cause the bowels to cramp up and loosen in succession, but that usually results in little enough actual fecal discharge that it very rarely would be seen through clothing. In all of my work on compiling these cases, I can only think of one decedent who was fully dressed and shat herself badly enough for it to be visible through denim.
Contrarily, the bladder typically empties completely and, being entirely liquid, is much more obvious in photographs. What you're seeing on the ground below her is almost certainly just a puddle of urine that gives the illusion of texture due to the lighting and the surface of the patio flooring.
