I dogsat a pitbull for a couple hours once. The lady in the apartment across the hall from me had one, but she moved away not long after I moved in. I was skeptical about it, but my gf at the time insisted on it.
She was a really sweet and pretty pitbull, but she jumped on the bed and sat face to face to me maybe a foot or so away and part of me felt terrified. Like her funny dog face could at any moment turn angry and my soft fleshy face could end up like the person in this video. She also went batshit crazy from 0 to 100 barking and jumping up at the window when she heard a noise.
Never in a million years would I choose to own a pitbull, especially when so there are so many doggo breeds that are gentle as a lamb. Hell, there are protective dog breeds that have much better track records if you just HAVE to go that route.
