Hunting does. This kind of trophy hunting doesn’t. Ethical Hunting is a amazing practice and most hunters do it great. They use most of what they shoot or they sell it to someone who will. This Trophy hunting frequently is just for a single part of the animal. the rest is left to rot since the area is fenced off from predators. Hunting is fun, and a important skill. All these guys are doing is finding a pre set animal in a fenced in quarter mile. No tracking, no feeding, no skills, and no ethics. Just rich dudes who wanna kill something so they can say they hunted.

I’ve lived near places famous for hunting. There are Hunters, and there are “hunters.”
Hunters honor the animal they kill. They don’t use cheap tricks to make it easier. They’ve spent considerable time learning to track, identify, & shoot. They follow the rules of the land they hunt. They shoot to kill on the first shot. They either use the entirety of the animal or give what they don’t use to people who will use it. They hunt in the spirit of humanity, that Hunter lineage that extends hundreds of thousands of years into the past, when man hunted lethal animals in order to survive.
“Hunters” get drunk in a tree stand until a deer comes to check out the scent they smeared all over the place, then shoot them wherever, and let the animal flee, to die in pain & agony & then rot. “Hunters” couldn’t track an animal to save their lives. They hunt for nothing but sport or prestige, and not to eat what they kill.
You get the point, I’m sure. I’m against any kind of hunting that doesn’t honor the animal & the exchange of death for life. Hunting is humanity’s key ancestral activity, along with farming, but only if it’s done the right way.

Hunting etiquette generally dictates that you kill the animal as quickly and cleanly as possible, and eat/sell the meat. Hunters don't just go around killing animals and discarding the bodies. Also, most places require purchasing a hunting license, which especially in the case of big game can raise a ton of money to protect and maintain the populations of these animals and the environments in which they live.
