I like cats and dogs. But when somebody wants to have a "dogs are better" convo with me. I bring up that I've never heard of packs of cats mauling children/people to death. I am not always fun.

If cats were the size of big dogs they would. Guess what? There are cats that big and they do maul children and people.

Ok, but those cats aren't house pets. See the difference?

These are all domesticated dogs that could be house pets.

Clearly not domesticated if they are attacking people.

While it's true dogs are far more dangerous than house cats, I use many factors to judge which I prefer. Dogs still come out on top, but I also love my kitty very much.

By definition they are domesticated in the sense that they were bred through generations to live amongst humans.

And they still can do this. A Tiger cannot be domestic. In fact house cats aren't even fully domesticated.

Since people are being retards, I'm talking about the scientific definition, not the shit you can find by making a single google search. Honestly thought this was obvious.

By definition you're an idiot.

Domesticated is not the same thing as being tamed

At least by the scientific definition, stop being a dumbass and just googling your information and actually dig a lil deeper.

It takes generations of selective breeding for a species to become domesticated.

By definition you are incorrect, the definition of domestic is simply (of an animal) tame and kept as a pet or on a farm. These are clearly not tame. Kept as pets? possible in the sense that anything is technically possible, but as a betting man, id say 98.9% sure these are abandoned/strays that banded together.

You googled the definition huh? You can keep a Tiger, but, it won't be domestic. Please do more research on the scientific process of domestication.

https://www.britannica.com/science/domestication

Here is one example.

Dogs are genetically domesticated animals. They have been selectively bred through GENERATIONS to live and work amongst humans, and they are STILL capable of doing this.
