You can't even see what makes the guy fall - but I'm GUESSING the elephant MIGHT have had a chain around its leg, which caught around the guy and pulled him down?

I was also studying this video like the Zapruder film frame by frame and I think this is the case: the elephant was just in the process of lying down on his side. At the same time the hose slipped the guy's hands and landed on the ground. Dude got startled and when he tried to catch the hose did some sharp movement that seems to have made him lose his footing and slip on the wet floor. He seems to have fallen down exactly where the elephant decided to take a nap. This is my reading

He whacked the elephant with the steal hook that these folks all use to abuse the elephant. Dumb fucker hit the elephant in the back leg when it wasn't obeying him and then the time was karmic as he hit the elephant he slipped and the elephant then obeyed his order to get down . Fucker caused his own death.
