Pitbulls are rarely in a pack. These are regular dogs, easily scared by anything human sized willing to put up a serious fight. Kick the absolute shit out of a few them, and the rest will run. Now if you should happen to encounter a pack of pitbulls (never actually seen a video of such a thing here) that is scary and you will need a knife.

Have you ever been attacked by a dog? I have, fucking twice. Those fuckers will put a paw behind your knee, pull you down, and go for the neck in less than a second. Well, more likely your ears, cheek, nose, or other parts of the face, but still. They're fucking fast. Gonna be way harder to stop them than you might imagine.
