Sadly these animals dont live long in captivity under these conditions, regarldess of how much money they throw into zoos. Thanks to that and no way of relocating animals once they got used to a certain region without complete and utter isolation/depression/anger. Even more fucked up is how many zoos actually just leave the animals behind to rot after a pandemic. We get what we give and we gave it our all and now we are getting it all back.
