A young Russian man was mauled to death by a shark off one of Egypt's Red Sea resorts, according to Egyptian and Russian authorities.
The man, named as Vladimir Popov by Russian media, died after being attacked by a tiger shark in the waters near the city of Hurghada, Egypt's environment ministry said.
Footage circulating online, purportedly of the attack, shows a man thrashing about in the water before being repeatedly attacked by a shark circling him and then dragged under.
The ministry later said the shark had been caught and was being examined in a laboratory to try to determine the reasons for the rare attack.
A 46-mile (74km) stretch of the coastline was closed off by authorities, who announced it would remain off-limits until Sunday.

I watched a video of a guy analyzing the attack frame by frame on Youtube (Lexusant) in a 40 minute video. Won't be surprised if he is here, as he is apparently a sick bastard like us, fascinated by such graphic fatalities. Here are some frames that shows how sad this story is and the sheer horror poor Vlad must have gone through.
Basically, he ephasizes that Vlad's arms were ripped off and he is just a torso with legs at this point:

Some other interesting details. They say the same shark was responsible for another victim - Elisabeth Sauer. They also say, that this same shark was pregnant in both cases, which restricts her from hunting at her best, first time she had easy snack, second time apparently she had some craving for the same and returned to the same snack beach. After Vlad some vigilantes embarked on a revenge mission and killed the naughty shark, retrieving Vlad's hand and head, helping complete the puzzle.
I'll be avoiding Red Sea for now...
Edit: forgot to add - according to one article Egyptians want to mummify the shark and place it in a museum. Those Egyptians with their passion about mummies, right
