Bees attack a guy who was walking down the street, killing him as everyone else hides in their cars

Something tells me he wasn't just walking along minding his business to draw the wrath of an entire hive.

ahhh the africanized honey bees, aka killer bees.

saw this on another post here and it said they threw rocks at the hives.

don't know how accurate that information is, but it makes sense as to why they were so mad.

a dumb way to die, especially if it was preventible.

My parents have had bees before for years. They've made hundreds of dollars on honey. A couple years ago, a bear destroyed the bee hives and killed all the bees. There were 3 hives. My parents just haven't had the money to get new bees, they're so broke they can't even afford grocery shopping without their credit card. First bear in the area and it specifically targets our bees. Nice ass hives too, these are newer but it seems the bees are too scared of the bear.

I can now select "Killed by Bees" on my "The way Indians die" bingo card.

Depending on the bees, you can die in a couple minutes if you get stung enough.

Someone released the bees or the dogs with the bees and when they bark they shoot bees at you

Africanized honey bees are typically much more defensive, react to disturbances faster, and chase people further (400 metres (1,300 ft)) than other varieties of honey bees. Africanized honey bees, as opposed to other Western bee types:

-Tend to swarm more frequently and go farther than other types of honey bees.

-Are more likely to migrate as part of a seasonal response to lowered food supply.

-Are more likely to "abscond"—the entire colony leaves the hive and relocates—in response to stress.

-Have greater defensiveness when in a resting swarm, compared to other honey bee types.

-Live more often in ground cavities than the European types.

-Guard the hive aggressively, with a larger alarm zone around the hive.

-Have a higher proportion of "guard" bees within the hive.

-Deploy in greater numbers for defense and pursue perceived threats over much longer distances from the hive.
