Pitbulls were originally bread for fighting, they are made to be tough as fuck and aggressive as a motherfucker. catch em in the wrong mood around a toddler and they'll fucking kill that child. they make up for less than 5% of the dog population and almost 70% of all dog attacks in the US every year. It doesn't mean the dude is lying about his dog not biting, it's just what he believes. he simply hasn't seen what happens when those instincts take over. you're braindead if you think that police defunding means actually taking money away from police forces lol #1 it never actually happened, and #2 it was never about actually taking money away from police forces, it was just seriously poorly chosen word to describe the movement.
it was simply about rethinking the use of funding and expanding police forces to include units for responding to non criminal matters. of course a lot of calls require the protection of a firearm, and we wouldn't necessarily take guns away from the units that respond to these non criminal situations, they just wouldn't be the kind of units that respond and shoot a 12 year old autistic kid for having an episode.
They would arrive without being on edge like a cop would to a criminal situation.

Pit bulls fucking terrify me. Love dogs. Have one.
Some dogs were bred (I almost left this shit as “bread”) to hunt, others to protect your livestock, then there are some that were genetically and physically honed to rescue people out of the mountains. Which leads us to these Put Bulls which were mostly bred to pull down prey much larger than themselves.
