this happened in Indonesia, maybe a year ago. so the guy who swims said he is a croc tamer, before that a child has been eaten by the croc and the tamer want to help to bring back the corpse, sadly or I must say stupidly he became the second victim by the croc.
more info: it is common in Indonesia if there is someone who "magically" can tame some predators like snakes, Crocs, and even tigers, I saw one of them and FR they can tame the animals like his pet

Dude is already in the water when this video begins so we don't know what was or wasn't said. The entire attack in the video lasted less than 15 seconds and the victim never even got a scream out before going under & never coming back up again. I viewed frame by frame and couldn't see the croc approaching…barely saw it during attack so that's a very small window of opportunity to do anything.
I found several articles on my own that say he believed he was a shaman who could control the crocs with his chants and he was going to recover another victim so it's reasonable to believe he's done this before and there's isn't anything those people could have said to change his mind. Based on their reactions it sounds like they might have believed this was an act…or maybe they totally expected this to happen and weren't surprised at all by it and that's why a couple giggle.
