In 1984 a schizophrenic man went into a dojo in Virginia owned by Bobby Joe Blythe & claimed to be a grandmaster who was awarded his blackbelt by Jesus. The mentality ill man then offered to show them some katas.
Bobby Joe Blythe had one of his best students beat him to death. You can hear the mentality ill man conceding several times, but he just doesn't stop.
Eventually his head is repeatedly kicked between a metal pole & concrete & his skull fractures. He's bleeding badly from the ears & experiencing agonal breathing as he's dragged out by the feet & thrown into a dumpster in the alley behind the dojo.
The owner of the dojo along with several of the students are either affiliated with or are police & no one involved was ever charged with his murder.

This is one of those internet stories that's not true but keeps coming back. The Washington Post reported that the police interviewed the man after, he was not killed. Blythe was in the military, not associated with the police in any way. Think people- this was 1984, things weren't filmed ubiquitously like they are today. So there just happened to be a cameraman there w super8, or a camcorder, which had only been released the year before and was the size of a briefcase and very expensive?
