CHILD WARNING Child Warning (Child Warning) Drug addict father beats his son to death in the street

The incident took place in the municipality of Rodriguez in Philippines. It happened on April 27, 2022 Wednesday morning.

The 7 year old kid was beaten to death by his father who had records of illegal drug abuse after his wife locked him inside the house to stop his erratic behavior.

Edit: I forgot to mention the suspect was arrested and sent to a custodial facility where an inquest proceeding was to be conducted. Unfortunately, the suspect bashed his head on the wall many times and ended up killing himself.

I'm embarrassed this happened in my home country. I'm confused why it took so long for bystanders to intervene, and when they did it was a half-assed attempt. I guess there were just in shock since this happens very rarely.
