And today I reminded myself why I usually watch these with the sound off.

cause you're some weird kinda dude who likes watching people die but not hearing it? it's like two seconds of low pitched growling/grunting, but you're watching a dude get his head cut off. straighten out your perspective lol.

I feel like the sound is what makes them more uncomfortable. I like the visual / medical side of stuff like this, but not the sound(s) usually.

i'll admit it's not nice hearing some stuff, blood-curdling screams and pleas etc, but in this particular case, the visual is a lot worse than the audial. nothing medical about watching a dude die like this lol.

It's hard to describe what I mean. I'm trying to say that seeing the visuals of how the body works and what happens to it under certain circumstances is what interests me in these kinds of videos / websites.
The sounds just aren't pleasant at all.

I get what you're talking about but I think its more of the watching the struggle/suffering that's why it's easier you watch someone get shot because it's quicker and not as much of a struggle

See I don't think that's it, though. I've seen videos less "gory" than this one and if the sounds are still rough it's harder to get through.
