When did I ever say the tax payers care, it’s never been the tax payer’s responsibility to worry about how the moneys spent. The only responsibility the tax payers have is to pay the taxes. Congress decided what the money is spent on through the budget they set. If you want to go even further, the President spends the money on whatever he wants. As long as he spends the amount congress sets. So no, the tax payers don’t care what it’s spent on, they care about how high the taxes are

Little to no information being provided nor context, as well as little to no identifying factors on the soldiers to know which side they’re on. So I still have my doubts, but I never really disagreed with you on this. Saw a video of a Ukrainian soldier stabbing a Russian POW in the eye. I researched these really well when they happened. I can tell you this- the 3rd video is doctored. I watched it being "improved" online, with extra blood added one day that wasn't there the first day. The ribbons on their legs/arms colours on the Ukrainian soldiers weren't visible and then suddenly they were. I believe they found the Azeri guy, (the one who says I'm from Azerbaijan and he's there because of "orders" is bleeding so much) alive. The guy who was stabbed through the eye though- the killer was Ukrainian in Mariupol. He was identified, though I forget his name. (Miron? Miroslav?) I think he was the exception and not the rule- they want their people back, they aren't going to kill POWS. People who are dying with most of their heads blown off though, I'd shoot them too- it's kinder.

In this video the Russians literally laugh about how they’re going to show their commander the video of this execution, which shows that these sorts of war crimes are at the very least condoned if not outright encouraged. I’m not saying the Ukrainians have never committed war crimes, but Russia has really taken it to a new level between castrations, beheadings, beatings, and executions. If I’m Ukrainian and seeing these types of vids, I’m definitely not going to be taking any prisoners, and it’s a completely justified reaction.

War crimes happen in ever war, it’s an unfortunate reality. However, only one side in this war is condoning, excusing, and encouraging them and that is Russia. We’ve seen beheadings, castrations, beatings, executions, etc and many of them have been posted online for the world to see because the perpetrators know they will not be held accountable by their superiors. In WWII the Americans stopped taking SS POW’s after the Malmedy massacre, so I think it’s entirely understandable that the Ukrainians might not be so hospitable after learning about how barbaric the Russians have been treating Ukrainian POW’s and civilians.
