HUDSON, Wis. – As witness testimony began Monday in the trial of Nicolae Miu, the man charged with murder in the stabbing on the Apple River in Wisconsin in 2022, the court reviewed a video that showed the deadly moments during the stabbing.
The video shows the confrontation between Miu and two groups of tubers on the river leading up to and during the July 2022 stabbing that injured four people and left a Stillwater teen dead. It doesn't show exactly what preceded the confrontation, but rather the moments as the verbal altercation escalated into a fight and then eventually a stabbing.

Many of you might interpret the behavior of the old guy as 'strange' - because it didn't make sense how he approached the group of tubers, but the old guy was looking under the water for a lost cell phone that his friend dropped, and he said he saw one of the kids holding up a phone that he thought belonged to his friend.
And those kids were drunk as hell, and we don't see it in this video, but the fucking little punks accused the old guy of using the snorkel he was using to find the phone of "trying to look under water at little girls." (there were no little girls anywhere near there)
And I think it was the guy who died who had an alcohol level of .219, and people there said the rest of the group was even drunker.
This group of maybe 13 young men ATTACKED THE OLD GUY before he 'defended himself' with the knife. He was punched in the face and knocked down into the water from behind by LOTS of drunk young men.

And what most of these young kids will be completely unable to understand is that after you have had that type of surgery, and your chest has been cracked open, and you are still healing, and every time you move it hurts, and you fear being simply knocked to the ground will break your chest open and possibly kill you - is that after all that, a person feels INCREDIBLY VULNERABLE and weak and afraid of ANY physical confrontation or attack.
He WAS attacked by a LOT of physically fit, young DRUNK assholes who punched him in the face, and knocked him down from behind, under the water - and he LEGITIMATELY feared for his life.
