On Monday (15), Leidiane was stabbed to death by the suspect in the same place where she was attacked two months ago.
A security camera recorded the moment when Wendel dos Santos, aged 37, hits his partner Leidiane Ferro da Silva, aged 43, with a rear naked choke in Peixoto de Azevedo, 692 km from Cuiabá, in February this year. This Monday (15), Leidiane was stabbed to death by the suspect, in the same place where the attack occurred two months ago. Wendel is on the run.
In the images, it is possible to see the suspect holding the victim by the neck and pulling her back, around 4 am. Upon realizing that Leidiane faints, the suspect puts her on the floor and, seconds later, takes a knife from the kitchen and approaches the victim, who begins to get up.
On December 31st of last year, Leidiane announced that she was engaged to Wendel.
According to the Military Police, Wendel was not located in the region where the crime occurred. He is wanted by the police.

It's hard to say that for sure. Abused men are a very under-reported demographic. Most cases of domestic abuse with male victims don't get reported at all.
