I don't have any solid background information.
The French forum I got it off of just captioned it this "Man steals infinity stones and gets a brutal punishment" (in French of course). Whether or not he actually stole the infinity stones is up for debate. To my uneducated mind it looks like they were recording either to send a message or as proof to their superior that this man was killed.
Still, whatever he did, this was a shit way to go. Screaming and crying while being filleted by a machete. Only consolation was that it wasn't as long as it could have been.

Pretty sure that's a Tramontina machete, i own one myself. You can recognize them by their metal "sing".

they are using the same blade style, but with the wooden grip and shorter
