Tbf, when it comes to Pakistan if you stick to major developed cities like Islamabad, everything very modern, you'd feel at home coming from a western civilization, amenities to the clothing style, even travelling around, go to popular tourist places like Mari mountains, but DO NOT just go travelling to random mountain passes and little villages, because that's where you find bandits and backwards people. But to be clear, this article saying specifically female solo travellers is stupid, going to a conservative country I'd always recommend going with man, doesn't have to be a relationship but it'll keep you much safer
