If you're a good member of this website, first of all, rotate your phone 90 degrees, and hold the phone steady as you record and slowly approach the driver - and get a good closeup - and if it's obvious the person caused the crash, and especially if they are drunk, or driving a BMW (almost ALL BMW drivers are assholes) -

  • if the person burning caused the accident because they were drunk, or you saw them driving like an asshole - walk up close to them and ask:

"Does it hurt? Does it hurt real bad? I hope it really fucking hurts."

You can't really do shit unless you have fire extinguishers, there is so much heat (= pain) coming from that fire you just cant get close. Look up car fire rescue videos, in some you see way less flames but people trying to come close just flinch and go away from the heat.

You'd need a full on fire hose to knock down the flames in that thing. It doesn't look like a fire extinguisher would do much in this case.

Didn't they used to say that if you saw the fire start and have an extinguisher handy - use it and try to put it out - but if you come upon a fire already in progress just pack up your arse, get the hell out of there, and summon some help. This poor lad is (literally) cooked.

I see quite a few videos of people pulling out the driver through the window but yeah i guess it's a lot different when the driver themselves are covered in flames lol
