Have a small fire extinguisher in your vehicles y’all. I have a big one at the house and a small one in the car. You are more likely to die in a house fire than a home invasion, and they are easy to put out with the right tools.
They are also an incredibly shitty way to go. Good friends don’t let their buddies die in a fire.

I've never thought about that. The most useful thing in my car is duct tape. Tx!

Also seatbelt cutter and window smasher. They usually come as a combo tool. Useful if you live near lots of water.

Don't fire extinguishers explode under immense heat?

Sure, but before you get there you gas tank already exploded. You want to have it so you can put out fires like these, not necessarily your own vehicle.

nah, they're designed specifically to withstand heat. IF anything, it'll be a small breach spewing out gas from side of the extinguisher versus a kaboom

Also incredibly important to know the maintenance/check schedule for your extinguishers — Only worse thing than not having one during a fire, is having a malfunctioning one that you waste precious seconds trying to get it to work
