I've watched SO MANY videos of people being burned to death, that I've had enough time to consider what I would do - and when I see a stranger walk up to someone and cover them with flammable liquid - if it was me, I'd run away before they could put a match to me - and keep running - and tear off any clothes soaked in gas - and keep running until the gas evaporate - and stay away from that person - but, yes, definitely, you're right - if I'm trapped in a room with someone, then I wrap my arms (and legs) around them like a bearhug.
I think there have been videos where the person trying to do the burning has gotten really burned. And in SO MANY ARSONS, the arsonist almost ALWAYS seems to cover themselves in enough gas to end up running away with feet, and often hands too on fire.
