Well, I have now seen Funkytown! Scratch that off of my NSFL-bucket list...

I thought it'd be worse, to be honest. I mean sure it was horrible, but I guess it's always worse in your head before you lay eyes on it yourself.

Congratulations! I'm curious as to what you thought it would be if this is somehow not as bad as what you had pictured. I've always considered this the absolute top. Do you know of any others that are "worse"?

Well, I'd somehow expected the gory bits to get to me more. But frankly, it was so bloody that it almost became comical; it just seems unreal that a person can have so much blood caked to their face. The sounds were chilling, but not totally unexpected, so I could steel myself for those. I guess my mind just "hyped up" Funkytown to be some sort of unending nightmare, but I was merely left agape for about three minutes, if you know what I mean?

As for if there's anything worse? Well, there's a clip somewhere on here of a guy being stoned to death for almost ten minutes before he succumbs, which is horrific. And as far as sheer gore goes, I guess the Demogorgon Diver might compare. But I don't think there's anything quite on this level of utter sadism and brutality that I know of. Granted I've only been part of this community for about a month or so...

It reminds me of when I play VR games such as Blade & Sorcery or Hard Bullet, especially when using mods to make the NPCs invincible, so they've been essentially bludgeoned/stabbed so much, and they're covered in so much blood, yet still alive.

>blood caked to their face

Bruh that's not blood caked to his face; thats what's under your face.

Yeah, what can I say? I was always naïve by default.

Saw your comment and went to see the Demogorgon Diver. Thanks for that I guess. Between these two my gore appetite is satiated for a while

Good god the whole ocean was red after that. I'm just surprised he survived. More importantly, how do you even like... fix an injury like that?

honestly my biggest surprise my first time watching this (just now) was that the man was still alive and groaning through it all
