Yeah the way they screamed initially tells a lot that they weren't expecting to be cut like that and it totally took them by surprise, almost like calling out for help and pleading to be forgiven, you can see the guy on the right was trying to push his chin down refusing to be cut while his neck had to be vulnerably invaded by a cold metal blade anyway...
