Yes, there is lots of βeditionsβ of these guns that are plated from factory β The one in the video is likely aftermarket plating, which is common in Mexican cartel culture, as a sign of oneβs success.
Theyβll plate the classic 1911βs, all the way to their golden 7.62x39 AKs, and (for the very rich,) some golden SVDs to flex on the brokes. Mexico is very rich in gold, and it has been a custom/societal show of power - to have your guns plated gold!
