Just a little background on this…

The four men were members of “Los Zatas” a cartel originally made up of former Mexican soldiers. The person interrogating them is Edgar Valdez Villarreal aka “La Barbie” a U.S. citizen who became a lieutenant in the now disbanded Beltrán-Leyva Cartel.

The four men were sent to capture and kill La Barbie, they were instead caught before they could carry out their mission. Although only one is seen being killed on camera, the others were later found dead as well.

Barbie was later arrested by Mexican authorities and eventually sentenced to 49 years in U.S. federal prison on charges including: conspiracy, money laundering and drug trafficking.
