From the Battle of Lake Trasimene, where Hannibal "Barca" surprised and slaughtered an entire Roman legion in the dense fogs beside the water, to Arminius' betrayal of Varus in the Teutoburg Forest, where Rome lost three legions in a few nights. In the history of Mankind, hundreds of thousands, if not millions have lost their lives this way.

This is probably my favorite topic when it comes to historical warfare as well as combat footage. The thought of being ambushed when you're marching half asleep or relaxing with your comrades at a cozy night time fire terrifies me. Even more so, the further you go back in history.
