In hangings pushed out tongue (in not yet badly decomposing bodies, none shown here) is almost a sure indication that it was a very slow strangulation hanging death. Except for two murder by hanging cases, all the rest presented are suicides.

I think it's because when the person is being hanged She ends up biting her tongue causing it to swell or even almost tear it off
