Snuff films are not just footage of people being killed- snuff films are videos taken specifically with the intention of murdering someone on film, and then selling that footage to... probably politicians, they're probably into that kind of shit.
I wonder if there really is a market for snuff films? Probably not, given how easily you can find footage of people being killed in a variety of ways for free.

the market probably only exists in lawless/wartorn countries, and even then, locals would interfere violently
only groups that locals are too powerless to fight (cartels/militants) would produce any snuff films, because killing innocents in western countries bears too much risk for it to be repeated consistently

While this is largely true, it's worth noting how many people in just the USA simply vanish every year. Lots of them just simply vanish out of state parks, of all places. Poof, no trace left behind, according to the police- who are never corrupt and never, ever facilitate criminal activity. I wish you could hear how sarcastic I'm being with that last bit.

I don't consider cartel execution videos "snuff films".
A snuff film would be like... someone like (((Epstein))) trafficking a child to a rich client of his, and then filming the torture/murder of this victim. The footage would then be sold to people who get off on shit like that. I think that these people who live depraved, decadent lifestyles constantly need more. More drugs, more wild sex, more sensation- and the road ends with them smoking crack in a very expensive hotel room while jerking off to a video of a little girl being hurt.
And then, when he's done, he puts his suit on and goes to make his speech. This sounds absurd, but it's probably really close to the truth. We know they're doing cocaine in the White House, why not crack? Why not just anything at all? They are our fucking tyrants, after all.
