What excuses will you give if you are caught watching or in possession of gore by your family and/or friends?

For me easy, i just say "Im trying to get better with seeing blood" because its not completely a lie, on my mothers side everyone is prone to light-headedness and passing out over gore/blood/descriptions of it, and most of them got better over time

Did they get better over time by watching gore?

A little bit, i dont watch gore per say, gore still makes me feel sick and lightheaded, especially self inflicted stuff, even if its small cuts that i would get at work the idea of it being self-inflicted makes me feel lightheaded, i used to self harm a bit but it was light shit, i never wanted to cause permanent damage (even tho i accidently did)
Eg - I cant watch saw movies without looking away and needing a cold table to lay my head on
I mostly watch combat footage, drones, gunshots, grenades because its easier to distance yourself from it
That being said, yes its getting slightly better over time, still not great but better
