Beans won't get infected if you wash with soap and water and keep the area clean until it stops bleeding.

Soap and water help remove the infection causing bacteria from the are and any large particles that could have somehow gotten somewhere you don't want them to be in.
It isn't a 100% fix, but it won't make it worse as long as you use anti-bacterial soap and clean water.
If you are anxious and want to take a nuclear approach, pour rubbing alcohol onto a clean cotton swab, rub the area with it then apply a plaster/bandage.

never use rubbing alcohol unless you have no other choice
it kills all the good bacteria, dries out skin, and makes the healing process longer
soap and water is good just make sure the soap isn't too harsh, and try to close the wound if possible
the best way to stop infection is just going to the hospital and following their care instructions
wash it with saline solution everyday if you have some or look how to make it at home
