I'm thin and I float too, I believe anyone floats when they just relax. Watching the end though, I believe there was some kind of current or something because their bodies sunk like rocks when they stopped struggling. That's weird, usually a dead body will float, or at least if it sinks it's not that quick, right...?

Yes - the end is very weird how they go down .
I always struggled to float because I wasn't taught properly.
You have to learn how to float before learning to swim if I remember correctly. I took lessons later !
Floating is easier if you get on your back so you can breathe and shout for help- very obvious but not to everyone is taught this and it's a real lifesaver.
Just watched this about floating
In my town an old woman with dementia was once rescued by the police from a river. She had entered the water and had floated for a few miles when someone noticed her!
