I swear, India and China have more dummies dying in such avoidable ways than any other countries I know of.

Population size matters. I remember reading stats about preventable deaths in the US when I was a kid and a few hundred people a year die by breaking their necks from jumping on beds and even more for sticking metal into electrical sockets. People are stupid everywhere. Western countries also tend to have more laws (often at local levels) that stop these kinds of videos from being uploaded so the proportion of death videos we see on these sites are skewed.
