Have you ever dislocated a shoulder? He wouldn't be able to swing his arms around in a circle if he did. I think he might have got a bunch of water up his anus, causing blinding pain and an inability to function. Also looks like he may have been temporarily knocked out, so he might have been aspirating/choking on water, causing panic.

One arm is 100% dislocated or completely snapped. Look at it just dangle in the water. The other one probably not but probably damaged. I think water up his ass cause pain is way off, I firmly believe he broke bones and dislocated at least one shoulder. Just look how he hits the water…
