Wtf, he was so close to the extremely shallow part and couldn't make it?? Even if he can't stay above the surface, the spot he drowned in was like, 6 feet deep or so at the most, judging by the other kid being able to walk the rest of the way from a similar spot. He could've just walked the 8 feet out so the rest of the way from the bottom in order to surface, no? And his "friends," 1 of whom we can see knows how to swim, don't do shit?!
