That was really sad to watch. They say drowning is a peaceful death, but I always imagined the immense panic and fear would be excruciatingly bad as it happened. Maybe this was merciful compared to him having to live in China. They don't value the lives of others there and it's quite apparent. Not sure if it's from nature or nurture. Like if you're surrounded by so many people all the time you just stop giving a fuck. Or if it's the influence of the CCP. From what I can understand the woman behind the camera repeats that the kid is ok and that he's just searching for something a couple times before pointing to him and asking the kids to check what was wrong with him but from the way she called him that kid it doesn't seem like she knows him so her telling the people around him that he's ok is kind of weird

Not surprised it took place in China. If they helped the boy, his parents could have easily sued for medical expenses under the accusation that they were trying to drown their son.
Its why you see so many people in China just avoiding helping people. Too many people have been sued by the person who they helped to pay for their medical bills, or in the worst cases, funeral costs.
