I can’t tell if he’s a lifeguard or just a weirdo who likes to stare at swimming pools. He doesn’t really look dressed for the part. Shirt, sandals, and no whistle.

it was actually more responsible for him to alert more people before jumping in, even if there are no professionals around, so that if he jumps in to rescue he wont become another victim. Also, if he is indeed not a lifeguard and he is alerting a lifeguard to rescue, they are 1000% more capable of saving a life than a layman. They (should) know how to prevent themselves from getting pulled under by the victim as well as how to handle him without causing more damage, as well as begging life saving treatment immediately. Also, if he would jump in, he would have to stop gawking at the cute twinks.
